Globle Game for teachers
The game works well on a projector or interactive whiteboard. The class guesses together, and the globe shows how close each guess is.
Classroom mode
- A large globe and big text that can be read from the back of the room.
- Full screen when you start it with the button. Press Esc to leave.
- Names are shown on the globe for every guess.
- In practice mode you can pick continents, take hints, give up to show the answer and start a new country.
Privacy in the classroom
- No login and no accounts, for teachers or pupils.
- No pupil data is collected. Guesses and stats are kept only in the browser on the device being used.
- No ads on this page or in classroom mode.
- No cookies. Visits are counted anonymously.
Lesson ideas
- Continent warm-up: turn on one continent in practice mode and let the class find three countries in a row.
- Neighbours: after each guess, ask which countries touch the warmest one, and why some are 0 km apart.
- Distance and scale: compare the distances shown in km and miles, and talk about why borders across the sea are not 0 km.
- Daily challenge: play today’s country together at the start of a lesson. Everyone in the world has the same country that day.
